Temple of Somnath :

Sirkazhi can be reached by many state run buses that connect it to Chidambaram, Nagapattinam and other cities of Tamil Nadu state. Mayavaram serves as the nearest rail head to Sirkazhi. The railway station is just 20 km from it and is well linked to other cities and towns of the state and the country. If you travelling by air Trichi is the place where you get down. Temperature of the region varies according to season. It reaches up to of 32 degree Celsius in summer while in winter it remains around 21 degree Celsius. The climate of Alwar is quite dry. October to March is the best time to visit Alwar as its temperature is moderately low during this period.

Karni Mata Temple :-
Karni Mata Temple is one of the most sacred places of Hindu in Alwar. Based on pillared sand stone.

Moosi Maharani Ki Chhatri :-
Moosi Maharani Ki Chhatri is another place of attraction. It is the royal cenotaph of Maharaja Bhaktwar Singh and his Queen Rani Moosi.

Vinay Vilas Palace :-
Vinay Vilas Palace is another must visit place of Alwar. The Palace is historical important for its architectural structure of both Mughal and Rajasthani style. City Palace Museum is situated in City Palace and it has the collections of royal treasures of erstwhile rulers. 

Moti Doongri :

Moti Doongri is another place of tourist attraction for its swanky palace and the Ganesh and Lakshmi Narayan Temples. 

Company Garden :

Company Garden is amazing tourist place for its lustrous greenery which is nowhere to be found in the sandy region of the state. 

Jai Samand Lake :

Jai Samand Lake is another picnic spot for the tourists. Sprawling vegetation that surrounds the lake makes it a beautiful place to visit.

How to reach: 

Rail and road connect the city to other parts of the state and the country. State run buses connect the city to many other cities and towns of the state. Private luxury buses are also available from Jaipur and other major cities of the state and country. Alwar railway station is located in the heart of the city and connects it to many other cities like Jaipur and Delhi. The nearest airport to Alwar is Sanganer Airport located at Jaipur which is 162km away from Alwar.

Kalkand Market offers its visitors its sweet dish with rich aroma. Kalakand,  the sweet dish,  is so delicious that whole market is named after it, Kalakand Market. 

Bhiwani is a town and municipality in the state of Haryana. It is the headquarters of Bhiwani district located near the Thar Desert. Bhiwani gets its reference in Ain-e-Akbari. It was set up by a Rajput king and was named after his wife Bhani. In the course of the time the name Bhani was changed to present Bhiwani. The town has been a prominent place of commerce since Mughal era. Home to several prominent temples, Bhiwani is sometimes referred to as the small Kashi of India. Bhiwani is the boxing powerhouse of India. It hosts a boxing academy established by Captain Hawa Singh, a legendary Indian boxer.

Star Monument :
Star Monument is one of them. It is situated in Satsang Bhavan Complex. It is a Smadhi of Sh Tara Chand or Maharaj Ji.  The monument gets its name from star-like shape. A beautiful small garden is located near the monuments. The hut in the garden is believed to be the place for Maharaj Ji to meditate.

Jain Temple :
Jain Temple is prominent place of worship in Bhiwani. It is located in Ranila village in Bhiwani district. The temple is also famous for its wonderful architecture and is visited by both the tourists and devotees.

Gauri Shankar Mandir :Gauri Shankar Mandir is another prominent place of worship. It was built in 1955 by Seth Kirorimal. Pillars of the temple are beautifully engraved with Hindu mythological scenes. Shri Rangnath Mandir, Khaki-baba ka Mandir, Hira Puri Mandir, Hanuman Mandir, Lohru Fort, Tomb of Raja Khetri, Shyameswar Tank, and Hanuman Mandir are some of many other places of interest located in and around Bhiwani.

How to reach: 

Bhiwani is well connected by rail to other parts of India. It is a major railway junction and hence gets several trains connecting many other cities of the country. It also has good road connectivity. Indira Gandhi International Airport is the closest airbase to Bhiwani. State-run buses are also available to the town from other cities and towns of Haryana.

Ambala is a city in Indian state of Haryana. It is located on the border between Punjab and Haryana. It is a Municipal Corporation and the headquarters of Ambala district. Ambala consists of two sub areas- Ambala Cantonment and Ambala town. These two areas are 3 km apart from each other. Both Indian military and Indian air force have their presence in Ambala Cantt. It is believed that the city got its name from Amba Rajput, the founder the city, while some believe that Ambala is named after Bhavani Amba temple located in the city.

Ambala is major market of scientific products. It is sometimes referred to as the city of scientific products. Ambala is hub for the products like microscopes, glass apparatus, laboratory equipments, etc. It produces about 34 percent of the total scientific products in India. Ambala is also a major market of custom-made clothes for men and women. Though Ambala is a transit place for the tourist travelling to neighboring states, the city itself offers several places of interest in and around it.

Lakhanpur Sahib Gurudwara :It is a major pilgrimage center in Ambala. It is associated with Guru Gobind Singh. The Gurudwara is located in Lakhanpur village in Ambala district and is frequented by thousands of Sikh devotees from all over the globe.

Gurudwara Manji Sahib :

It is another prominent place of worship in Ambala. It is perched on the national highway no 1, known as Sher Shah Suri Marg. Originally built in the year 1764, Gurudwara Manji Sahib was reconstructed during 1871 to 1911 by Maharaja Hira Singh of Nabha. The place of the Gurudwara was once visited by the sixth Sikh guru, Guru Hargobind Singh. The Gurudwara   has small pond and a well believed to be built during the stay of Guru Hargobind Sing. Badshahi Bag Gurudwara and Sis Ganj Gurudwara are other major pilgrimage places of Sikhs located in Ambala.

Rani Ka Talab :

Apart from the places of religious significance, Ambala also hosts other places of interest like Rani Ka Talab and Planetarium. Rani Ka Talab is historical legacy of the city. This 500 years old pond was constructed by Raja Ranjit Singh of Chhachhrauli. It is located in Ambala Cantt and is under the control of Indian Army. An ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is also located on the bank the pond.

Ambala Planetarium :It is one of the oldest planetariums in the country. It was set up in the 1950s. Designed by Pt. Jagannath Sharma, a spearhead in scientific products   industry, Ambala Planetarium attracts tourists’ attention by its magnificent dome structure. Amazing visual appearance of sky at any given latitude is the main highlight of the planetarium.

How to reach: Ambala has good rail and road connectivity. Ambala City Railway Station is located in the center of the city.  It is well connected by several trains to many other parts of India. Ambala is perched on the national highway no 1 (NH-1) connecting Delhi and Amritsar.  State-run buses also connect the city to other parts of Haryana state. Chandigarh (50 km) is the nearest airbase to Ambala.
