Dhone Railway Junction,Andhra Pradesh



Dhone, also called as Dronachellam, is a town in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh state. It is served with a railway junction which comes under South Central Railway Zone of Indian Railways. DHNE is the station code of Dhone Jn. Dhone Jn is served with several trains connecting it to many other parts of the country. Dhone is also perched on national highway no 7 (NH-7) linking it to other parts of Andhra Pradesh and rest of the country.
Dhone lies just about 52 km south west of Kurnool, the headquarters of Kurnool district. Kurnool is major tourist destination in Andhra Pradesh. It is home to several places of interest like Kondareddy Fort, Belcum Cave, Mahanadi, Saibaba Temple, Birla Temple, etc. Other major towns and places of interest located near Dhone Jn are Srisaialm, Mantralayam, Kadapa and Puttaparthi. Puri- Bangalore Spl, Kacheguda- Bangalore Exp, Kacheguda-Chittor Exp, Bhubaneswar- Bangalore exp, and many other trains pass through Dhone Junction.

Barauni Railway Junction


Barauni Located on the bank of holy River Ganga, Barauni is a town in Begusarai district of the state of Bihar. This erstwhile industrial hub of Bihar is a railway junction which comes under Sonpur division of East Central Railways.  Begusarai which serves as the headquarters of Begusarai district is just about 17 km away from Barauni town, city of Patna, the capital place of Bihar state is about 120 km away from the town. 
Barauni Jn in Begusarai is a major base from where several places of interest in the district can easily be accessed. The town Barauni itself is famous for its bridge built over the river Ganga. The bridge serves to be a main attraction of Barauni. It is known as Rajendra Setu popularly called as Mokama Bridge. It is rail cum Road Bridge and connects north Bihar to south Bihar. Mokama Jn and Barauni Jn are connected by this Mokama Bridge which was inaugurated by Rajendra Prasad, the first president of independent India. Barauni is also famous for its industrial complex which holds much potential for Barauni to become a major industrial hub in Bihar. Wildlife sanctuary, Kabar Jheel, bird’s sanctuary and Naula Garh are some important places of interest which can easily be explored from Barauni Jn.  
Barauni is major railway junction of East Central Railways. It is well connected to all metro cities- Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi and Chennai. It also serves to be a gateway to northeast state of India. Barauni Jn connects the north eastern parts of India to the rest of the country. Barauni has three main railway stations namely Barauni Junction, Barauni Flag and New Barauni. National Highway no-28 (NH-28) runs through the town connecting it to other parts of the country. Patna Airport (120 km) is nearby major airbase to Barauni.

Baraigram Railway Junction


        Baraigram Railway Junction is located in Karimganj district of Indian state of Assam. It belongs to Lumding Jn of North Frontier Railway Zone. Baraigram Jn is perched on Karimganj- Kumarghat rail line and is linked by several trains to other parts of the country.  BRGM is the station code of Baraigram Jn.
     There are several places of interest located around Baraigram Jn. Karimganj is an emerging tourist destination in Assam state. This beautiful city is home to several attractions which draw a number of tourists round the year. Baraigram has easy access to Karimganj. Other places of interest one can easily access from Baraigram Jn include Silchal, Hilakandi, Uanakoti, Kailashahar, etc. Agartala-Slichar Passenger, Karimganj-Dullabcherra Passenger, Silchar-Dharmangar Passenger and Silchar- Agartala Passenger are some of the other trains which pass through Baraigram Railway Junction.

Hathidah Railway Junction,Bihar


Hathidah is a railway junction in Patna district of Bihar state. Hathidah Railway Junction comes under Danapur Jn of East Central Railway Zone. Hathidah Jn is situated on Howrah-Patna-Mughalsarai rail line. Several Patna and Barauni bound trains coming from Sealdah, Ranchi, and Tatanagar stop here. Hathidah is located about 110 km away from Patna, the capital city of Bihar state. Rajendra Pul and Rampur Dumra are nearby railway stations to Hathidah Jn, while Darbhanga Jn is the nearby major railhead to it.

There are several places  of interest which can be accessed from Hathidah Jn. Munger is just about 75 km away from Hathidah Jn. It has rail connections to Hathidah. Home to several places of attraction, Munger is visited by number of tourists round the year. Munger fort, Sita Kund, Bhimbandh Wildlife Sanctuary and Kastaharni Ghat are some of the interesting places to visit in Munger. Bihar Sharif, Nalanda and Samstipur are other places which are easily accessed from Hathidah Jn.

Several trains pass through Hathidah Railway Junction and connect it to many other cities and towns of the country. Hathidah is also situated on national highways no 27 & 80 (NH-27 &NH-80). Patna which is about 110 km away from Hathidah serves to be the closest airbase to it.

Dabhoi Railway Junction,Gujarat



Dabhoi is a municipal town in Vadodara district of Gujarat state. It is a railway junction which belongs to Western Railway, Vadodara Jn. Dabhoi Railway Junction falls on Karjna-Chhota Udaipur rail route. It is just about 35 km south east of Vadodara which was formerly known as Baroda. Darbhavati, as the town of Dabhoi was originally known, is prominent Jain pilgrimage center in the state. Shri Darbhavati Teerth is just 2 km away from Dabhoi Jn. Dabhoi is home to six Jain temples. Shri Lodhan Parshwanath temple is the most prominent among them.  It witnesses thousand of Jain devotees thronging there round the year.

The town of Dabhoi is famous for its Dabhoi Fort, one of the most important ancient forts of India. Built in the 13th century, Dabhoi Fort is known for its Hindu military architecture. The fort has four main gateways with Hira Bhagol gate being the most important. This beautifully carved gate is named after Hiradhar, the main architect of the fort. Vadodara Gate, Champaner Gate and Nandod Gate are other three gates of the fort. The architecture of the Dabhoi Fort is base on the Vastushastra.  The fort once was the place of stay for many Jain scholars who contributed a lot in the enrichment of ancient Jain scriptures.
Several trains pass through Dabhoi Railway Junction connecting it to other cities of India. Dabhoi town is also connected by several state highways to other parts of Gujarat state. Vadodara Airport (35Km) serves to be the closest airbase to the town.
