Vanasur Ka Killa is another place of attraction near Lohaghat. It is situated at the altitude of 1760 m and is 9 km away from Lohaghat. According to mythology it is believed to be the capital of Vanasur who was killed by Lord Krishna.  To reach this place you have to cover 7km by bus or car and rest of 2km by foot.

Abbott Mount :

Abbott Mount is a beautiful place to explore natural surroundings. It is just 8 km away from Lohaghat. It offers tourist calm and scenic environment. Abbott mount has heavy snow fall in winter and remains snow covered during the time. You can also have fascinating views of majestic snow-covered Himalaya from here.
Devidhura is another place of attraction near Lohaghat. It offers many beautiful sights of nature. A Varahi temple is located near this place and is an important temple of the region. It also offers tourists adventurous trekking sites.

The airport is about 170km away and is well linked to Delhi which is further connected to other major cities of India and other countries. Tankapur is nearest railway station to it. It is just 90 km away from Lohaghat. The railway station is well connected to other cities and towns of the country.

Yelagiri is beautiful hill town situated in Vellore district of the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Swamimalai Hill :-
Swami Malai Hill is another place of interest you can visit in Yelagiri. This cake like hill has strong base with its peak touching to the sky.  Top of the peak offer the tourists amazing views of surrounding nature. This is the highest peak (4338 m) in Yelagiri.  Javadi Hill, Palamathi hill are other majestic hills nearby the town of Yelagiri.

Punganoor Lake :-
Punganoor Lake is yet another interesting place in Yelagiri. It is artificial lake and offers a perfect picnic spot to the visitors. A garden situated near the lake adds the beauty to the place.

Velavan Temple and Jalagandeeswarar Temple are some of the many places of worship you can visit near Yelagiri hill station.  Yelagiri also presents the adventurous tourists several trekking trails. Yelagiri experiences moderate temperature most time of the year. Its temperature varies from 18 to 34 degree Celsius in summer while it remains 11 to 25 degree Celsius in winter.  November to March is the best time to visit Yelagiri hill station.

Veraval is a port town in Indian state of Gujarat. It is situated in Junghad district of the state. Veraval port was important one on Gujarat coast in the past. It was also the departure point for Muslim pilgrims who wished to visit Mecca.

Temple of Somnath :
Temple of Somnath is situated just 6 km from Veraval. The temple is one of the twelve Jyotiralingas (most sacred places dedicated to Lord Shiva).

Vengurla is a town in Indian state of Maharashtra. It is situated in Sindhudurga district of the state. Apart from natural beautiful sites Vengurla has some place of worships visited by many devotees and tourists as well. Among them is the temple of lord Shiva located near the Sangreshwar beach. The temple is built in stones and presents a grand look to the visitors. Ganesh temple, Shri Mauli temple and Swaymbhoo Mahadev temple are other religious places to be seen around Vengurla. These temples are situated in Redi village near Vengurla.

Pollachi is a Tahsil town in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is situated close to the Western Ghats and is just 40 km away from Coimbatore. Pollachi is famous for its market. The Jaggery market of Pollachi is the largest market in entire Asia. Its cattle market is also one of the biggest cattle market in southern India.    Red Hills is an ecological fragile region in Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. It is in the state of Tamil Nadu and is just 28 km away from Ooty. The place is rich in beauty of nature surrounding it. Thanjavur is a city in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is the headquarter of the district of same name Thanjavur district.  It is also known as Tanjore. The city flourished as learning and culture center especially in Cholla dynasty who rule there from 11th to 14th century. Airavateswara temple :
Airavateswara temple near Kumbakonam is another religious place you can visit in Thanjavur district. It is also a world heritage site recognized by UNESCO. Other than temples Thanjavur also houses other place of interest in and around it.

Vijayanagara Fort and Siva Ganga Garden are some of them to be seen near Thanjavur.

Savandurga is a hill located in the state of Karnataka, India. The hill is famous for a temple situated there. It is just 33 km away from Bangalore, capital city of the state. Savandurga Hill is one of the largest monolith hills in the world. The height of the hill rises up to 1226 m and it’s structure is mainly consisted of Penisular gneiss, basic dykes, granites and laterites.
