Secunderabad is a twin city of Hyderabad in the Indian state
of Andhra Pradesh.It is separated
geographically by Hussain Sagar from Hyderabad. It no longer remains the
separate municipal unit and has merged into Hyderabad. Both these cities
together are known as Hyderabad. Secunderabad is served with major railway
junction. It is the headquarters of South Central Railway Zone. Secunderabad
Railway Junction is perched on Wadi-Vijayawada rail route.
There are several important places situated around
Secunderabad Jn. Bidar, Medak, Nagarjunsagar, Warangal are some of them.
Hussain Sagar is major tourist attraction one can visit near Secunderabad.
Hyderabad international Airport serves to be closest airbase to
Secunderabad. There are number of trains
which pass through Secunderabad Railway Junction and connect it to many other
cities of India. Some of the trains running through Secunderabad Jn include
Ajmer-Hyderabad Deccan Spl, Vishakhapatnam- Sainagar Shirdi Spl,
