Bachwara
Bachwara is town and railway junction in Begusarai district of
Bihar state, India. It is situated just
about 130 km west of Patna, the capital city of Bachwara. Bachwara Railway Junction is a part of East
Central Railway, Sonpur Jn. Sathajagat and Teghra are other nearby railway
stations to Bachwara. Darbhanga railway junction is the nearest major railhead
to Bachwara town.
Samastipur, situated just 38 km
away from Bachwara, is home to several places of attractions. Jhakhara,
Buzurdoar, Kharahia, Basuari and Dekari are some of places worth visiting
around Samastipur. Munger known for several places of interest is another
destination to be visited near Bachwara. Kanwar Lake at Begusarai is yet
another worth visiting place near Bachwara.
A number of trains pass through
Bachwara Railway Station connecting it to many other places of the state and
the country. Besides, National Highway no 28 (NH-28) runs through the town of
Bachwara. Patna Airport serves to be the closest airbase to Bachwara.
