Marwar Railway Junction is located in Pali district of Rajasthan state. It is managed by Ajmer Jn division of North Western Railway Zone. Marwar Jn is perched on Ajmer-Falna rail route and is served with many trains. Pali, the headquarters of Pali district, is just about 35 km away from Marwar Jn. There are several places of interest which can easily be explored from Marwar Jn. Jodhpur Jn serves to be nearby major railhead to Marwar Jn.
Situated on the bank of Bandi River, the town of Pali hosts several attractions. Marwar Jn has rail and road connections to it. Lakhotia Garden, Bangur Museum, Somnath Mandir and number of historic Baoris (wells with steps) are the main highlights of Pali. Marwar Jn lies just about 92 km south east of Jodhpur which is known for its historic significance and numerous historic structures. Marwar Jn is well connected to Jodhpur by rail and road. Exquisitely carved Ranakpur Temple and the famous pilgrimage center of Nathdwara are other major places of interest which can also be accessed from Marwar Jn.
Bikaner-Bandra Spl, Ahmedabad-Lucknow Spl, Pune-Jodhpur Exp, Dadar-Ajmer Exp and many other trains stop at Marwar Jn. State highway no 61 also connects Marwar Jn to other parts of Rajasthan state, while the nearby major airbase to the junction is Jodhpur Airport.
