Achhnera is a town and municipality in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Located in the district of Agra, Achhnera is major railway junction having rail connections to many parts of the country. It serves to be a base from where one can explore nearby places of tourist attraction.

Agra- the city of Taj Mahal is just about 30 km away from Achhnera. Built by Shah Jahan, Taj Mahal finds its place in the Seven Wonders of the World and happens to be the most visited tourist spot of India. Agra Fort, famous for housing many impressive palaces and gates is another historical attraction of Agra. The historic town of Fatehpur Sikri is located about 35 km away from Achhnera town.
