Bhiwani is a town and municipality in the state of Haryana. It is the headquarters of Bhiwani district located near the Thar Desert. Bhiwani gets its reference in Ain-e-Akbari. Tourist Places in Bilaspur
Bilaspur is second largest city of state of Chhattisgarh, India. Known for its aromatic Doobraj rice and handloom woven soft Kosa saris, Bilaspur also houses many places worth visiting. The city is situated at 111 km south of the state capital Raipur. Chhattisgarh High Court at Bilaspur makes the city be known as ‘’Nyaydhani’’ (place of justice) of the state. It has also become a major center of education as students from other parts of the state come there for medical and engineering exams. Chhattisgarhi and Hindi are widely spoken languages. Its weather is pleasant during winter and it is very hot and dry during the summer. How to get there: Air, rail and road connect the city to other parts of the state and the country. Bilaspur Airport is located at Chakabhatta which is just 10km away from center of the city. But it has not any regular flights from airliners. Nearest airport is at Raipur which is about 110 km away and it has regular flights from Delhi, Nagpur, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bhopal and other major cities of the country. Bilaspur is Zonal Head Office of South East Central Railway and well connected to other many parts of the country. Many state run buses and private luxury buses connect the city to other cities and towns of the state.
Other details : The city of Bilaspur celebrates all major festivals of India. Local festival in which they perform colorful Route Dance is celebrated in the month of November.
