Jetalsar Railway Junction


         Jetalsar is a prominent railway junction located in Rajkot district of Gujarat state. Jetalsar Jn falls on Veraval-Rajkot rail line and is managed by Bhavnagar division of Western Railway Zone.  Jetalsar Railway Junction connects Porbandar on west direction, Rajkot Junction on north direction, Junagarh Jn and Veraval on south direction, and Khijadiya Jn and Dhola Jn on east direction.  Jetpur and Navagarh are nearby railway stations to Jetalsar Jn, while Rajkot serves to be the nearest major railhead to it.
          Jetalsar Jn is just about 25 km north east of Junagarh, the eighth largest city of Gujarat state. Situated at the feet of Girnar hills, Junagarh serves to be a major tourist destination in the state. Junagarh, the old fort as it literally means, is a historic place hosting several places of interest, scenic spots and religious significant sites. Tundla Railway Junction,Uttar Pradesh



Tundla is a town in Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh state. It is situated just 30 km away from the city of Agra. Tundla is served with a railway junction which comes under Allahabad Jn of North Central Railway Zone. Tundla Railway Junction falls on Kanpur –Agra rail line. It also has rail route to Delhi via Aligarh. TDL is the station code of Tundla Jn. The town also lies on national highway no 2 (NH-2) connecting Kolkata to Delhi.
Tundla hosts several colonial buildings and a catholic church which serves to be one of the oldest churches in northern India. Most of the colonial buildings in the town have now been turned into railway quarters. Besides, there are several major places of attraction situated near Tundla which has easy to them. The Taj Mahal City- Agra is just about 30 km west of Tundla and is one of the most frequented tourist places in India. Other major worth visiting places one can easily access from Tundla include Mathura, Fatehpur Sikri, Vrindavan and Bharatpur.

Jasidih Railway Junction


     Jasidih is a small town located in Deoghar district of Uttar Pradesh state. It is a railway junction which belongs to Eastern Railway Zone, Asansol Jn. Jasidih Railway Junction falls on Howrah-New Delhi rail route. Jasidih lies just 7 km northwest of Deoghar city, the headquarters of Deoghar district. Dhanbad Jn is the nearby major railhead to Jasidih Jn. Several trains pass through Jasidih Jn connecting it to many other parts of the country.
     Deoghar, located just 7km away from Jasidih, Jn, is a prominent pilgrimage spot in Uttar Pradesh. It is home to Baidyanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple happens to be one of twelve Jyotirlingas situated in different parts of India. Deoghar also serves to be one of the fifty two Shakti Peethas. It is the only place in India where a Jyotirlinga and a Shakti Peeth are located together.  There are many other places of worship located in and around Deoghar.
         Famous for several religious and scenic spots, Giridih is another much frequented place in Jharkhand. It is just about 80 km away from Jasidih and is linked by rail and road to it. Usri Falls, Khandoli Dam and Balkhanjo Pahad are some of the worth visiting places in Giridih. Shri Sammeta Shikharji, Harihar Dham and Surya Mandir are major places of worship of Giridih.
        Muzaffarpur- Kolkata Exp, Howrah-Patna Exp, Asansol (WB)-Mumbai Exp, Dehradun-Howrah Exp, and Allahabad- Howrah Exp are some of the trains which run through Jasidih Railway Junction. Gaya Airport serves to be the closest airbase to Jasidih.

Janghai Railway Junction


       Janghai is a small town located in Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh state. The town lies near the border of Allahabad state and serves to be a major railway junction. Janghai Railway Junction belongs to Lucknow division of Northern Railway Zone of Indian Railways. It connects Phaphamau Jn in south, Jafarabad Jn in north, Partapgarh Jn in west and Varanasi Jn in east.  
       Janghai is just about 50 km away from Jaunpur, the headquarters town of Jaunpur district. Jaunpur is a historical town set up by Firoz Shah Tughalq in memory of his cousin Jauna. It is home to several historic mosques, Hi ndu religious sites and other places of interest. Jama Masjid, Atala Masjid and Lal Darwaza Masjid are some of prominent mosques of Jaunpur. The pilgrimage city of Allahabad is just about 60 km away from Janghai. Janghai has rail and road connection to it. Allahabad is the place of confluence of three holy rivers of India namely, Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. Allahabad Fort, Patalpuri temple, Hanuman temple and Ashoka Pillar are major places of interest in Allahabad.  The city also serves as the place for Kumbha Mela (a large Hindu fair).
       Bundelkhand Exp (Varanasi-Gwalior), Godan Exp (Mumbai- Gorakhpur), Lucknow-Varanasi Exp, Sarnath Exp (Chhapra (BH)-Durg) and Madurai Exp (Varanasi-Jodhpur) are some of the trains which pass through Janghai Railway Junction and connect it to other parts of the country.

Jamalpur Railway Junction


       Jamalpur is a town in Munger district of Bihar state, India. It is a major railway junction which belongs to Eastern Railway Zone of Indian Railways. Jamalpur Railway Junction falls on Gaya-Sahibganj rail route. Jamalpur is home to Indian Railway Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, abbreviated as IRIMEE. It is the centralized institute of Indian Railway imparting training to supervisors and officers of mechanical department of Indian Railway.
      Jamalpur is home to several places of interest. There is a small hill named Kali Pahadi near Jamalpur. Kali Pahadi serves to be a major picnic spot for the locals and the visitors. It hosts a temple dedicated to Goddess Kali. Jamalpur also houses a golf course which is mainly used by railway and army officers.  Munger which serves to be the headquarters of Munger district is just about 10 km away from Jamalpur. Munger Fort, Sita Kund, Bhimabandh Wildlife Sanctuary and Kastaharni Ghat are some of major attraction of Munger. Samastipur, Bhagalpur and Nalnda are other places of interest which are easily accessible from Jamalpur Jn.
