Tundla is a town in Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh state. It is situated just 30 km away from the city of Agra. Tundla is served with a railway junction which comes under Allahabad Jn of North Central Railway Zone. Tundla Railway Junction falls on Kanpur –Agra rail line. It also has rail route to Delhi via Aligarh. TDL is the station code of Tundla Jn. The town also lies on national highway no 2 (NH-2) connecting Kolkata to Delhi.
Tundla hosts several colonial buildings and a catholic church which serves to be one of the oldest churches in northern India. Most of the colonial buildings in the town have now been turned into railway quarters. Besides, there are several major places of attraction situated near Tundla which has easy to them. The Taj Mahal City- Agra is just about 30 km west of Tundla and is one of the most frequented tourist places in India. Other major worth visiting places one can easily access from Tundla include Mathura, Fatehpur Sikri, Vrindavan and Bharatpur.
Some of the prominent trains connecting Tundla to other parts India are Allahabad-Udhampur Spl, Gomati Exp (Lucknow-Delhi), Poorva Exp (Howrah-Delhi), Vaishali Exp (Delhi-Barauni), Farakka Exp (Delhi-Malda town), Mahanada Exp (Delhi-Alipur Duar), etc.
