Bayana Railway Junction


           Bayana is a small town located in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan state. It is located just about 45 km away from Bharatpur city which serves as the headquarters the district.  Bayana is a railway junction which comes under Kota division of North Central Railway of Indian Railways. Bayana Railway Junction falls on Kota-Agra rail line and is served with many trains. 
        The town of Bayana is religious significant place in Rajasthan state. According to mythology it is believed to have been built by Banasur who was Asura during the time of Krishna. Bayana serves to be a perfect base from where one can explore several places of attraction situated around it. Bharatpur, Fatehpur Sikri and Agra are some of the places which can easily be accessed from Bayana Railway Junction. Bharatpur is famous for its wild life sanctuary which is abundant with numerous species of birds and animals. Lohgarh Fort is another major attraction of Bharatpur. 
          The town of Bayana is just about 50 km southwest of Fatehpur Sikri, a prominent historic city of Uttar Pradesh. Fatehpur Sikri is home to several historic monuments and structure which present the visitors the insights of the glorious and royal old days of the regions. There are many other places of interest located around the town of Bayana. 
        Bayana Railway Junction is well linked by several trains to other parts of the country. Bharatpur Railway Junction is the nearby major railhead to Bayana. Besides, state high ways (SH-45 & SH-1) connect the town to other parts of the country. Kheria Airport at Agra (90 Km) serves as the closest airbase   to Bayana.

Bauria Railway Junction


           Bauria Railway Junction is located in South 24 Paragana district of West Bengal state. It is managed by Kharagpur Jn of South Eastern Railway Zone. Bauria Jn is perched on Uluberiya –Howrah rail line and is linked by several trains connecting it other parts of the country. Station code is BVA. Bauria Jn lies just about 50 km away from the center of Kolkata, the capital city of West Bengal. The City of Joy- Kolkata is historic and culturally rich city of India. It is home to numerous places of attraction including Victoria Memorial, Birla Planetarium, Fort William, Nicco Park,  Millennium Park, Howrah Bridge, National Library, Indian Museum, etc.  Besides, there are other prominent places which can easily be accessed from Bauria Jn.  Alipore, Raichak and Shankarpur are some of them.
        Howrah-Panskura EMU, Howrah-Midnapur EMU, Kharagapur-Howrah EMU, Haldia-Howrah EMU, and many other locals and passengers trains pass through Bauria Railway Junction. Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport of Kolkata serves to be the nearest airbase to Bauria.

Bina Railway Junction,Madhya Pradesh



Bina is a municipal town in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh state. It is a rapidly growing industrial town in the state. Historic town of Eran which also serves to be a southern gateway to Bundelkhand region lies very near to the town of Bina. Bina is a major railway junction which comes under Central Railways, Bhopal Jn. Bina Railway Junction falls on Bhopal-Jhansi rail route and also serves to be connecting point of Kota and Sargar-Katni.
Eran is a historical town located just about 45 km away from Bina Jn. It is the place where world’s first Sati incidence was reported. Eran is a prominent archeological site in Madhya Pradesh.  It is home to a ruined fort which is believed to be built by Dangis, who formerly ruled the region. It also hosts remains of several Vishnu shrines. An old temple of Lord Shiva at Basahari near Bina is another place worth visiting. Two large serene lake situated nearby the temple is added attraction of the place.
Bina is an emerging business hub in Madhya Pradesh. It is home to a major oil refinery of BORL and 1250MW capacity Thermal Power Plant. Agriculture market is a major part of the economy of the town. Bina Railway Station is served with many trains which connect the town to many cities of India. Bina is also connected by a National Highway no 26A (NH-26A) to Sagar, the headquarter town of Sagar district. Bhopal Airport serves to be the nearest airbase to the town

Unchahar Railway Junction,Uttar Pradesh



Unchahar Junction is located in Raibareli district of Uttar Pradesh. The railway station at Unchahar comes under the jurisdiction of Northern railway centered at Lucknow. Station code is UCR.
Unchahar is situated on the Allahabad-Raibareli highway.  Raibareli is at a distance of just 30 km from Unchahar by road. Raibareli, Aliabad, Kaushambi are some tourist sites approachable from this city. Major trains passing through this junction include Ganga Gomati Express, Triveni Express, Unchahar Express, Lucknow-Allahabad intercity, Nauchandi Express, Bulandshahar-Allahabad link Express.  Unchahar is connected to Allahabad, Bareli, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Singrauli, and Vidhyachal in UP. Direct passenger trains run through this station connecting Kanpur, Allahabad, and Raibareli.

Batala Railway Junction


         Batala is a town of historic and religious importance. It is located in Gurdaspur district of Punjab state.  It is situated just about 38 km away from the city of Amritsar and is just about 33 km away from Gurdaspur, the main city of Gurdaspur district. The town of Batala is served with a major railway junction which falls on Amritsar- Pathankot rail line. Batala Railway Junction belongs to Northern Railway, Firozpur Cant.
           Batala is a prominent pilgrimage place for Sikhs. It happens to be the same place where Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikh religion, was married to Salukhni in 1485. The town houses several temples and Gurdwaras which are related with the marriage of Guru Nanak Dev and are visited by thousands of devotees throughout the year. Every year the town Batala celebrates anniversary of Guru Nanak’s marriage with great religious fervor. The place also holds great religious significance for Hindus. Alchaleshwar Dham is major Hindu pilgrimage site in Batala.
          Batala also hosts several historic monuments which serve as key attractions of the town. Palace of Maharaja Sher Singh is one of them. Built during 1780-1839, the palace is famous for its architectural style.  Jal Mahal Palace is another historic structure in Batala. It is under the control of archeological survey of India. Jal Mahal and Palace of Maharaja were once connected by a tunnel. Hazira located near Baring College was a monumental structure built by Shamsher Khan. It now hosts a recreational park frequented by a number of tourist.
            Batala was once known as iron bird of Asia as it was a major producer of C I Casting, agriculture and mechanical machinery. It is still a major manufacture of C I Casting, agricultural and mechanical machinery. Weaving, Cotton ginning, sugar refining, rice milling are other business activities of Batala.
Batala Junction Railway Station is well connected by several trains to other parts of India. Besides, National Highway no 15 (NH-15) connecting Amritsar to Pathankot runs through the town of Batala. Raja Sansi Airport of Amritsar (38 km) serves as the closest airport to Batala.
