Unnao is a town and the headquarters of Unnao district in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is a major railway junction which belongs to Lucknow Jn of Northern Railway Zone. Unnao Railway Junction is perched on Kanpur-Lucknow rail line. It lies just 21 and 63 km away from Kanpur and Lucknow, respectively. ON is the station code of Unnao railway station. National highway no 25 also runs through Unnao town.
