Ringas is a town located in Sikar district of Rajasthan state. It is a railway junction which comes under Jaipur division of North Western Railway Zone. Ringas Railway Junction is perched on Delhi-Ajmer rail line and is served many trains connecting it to other parts of the country. RGS is the station code of Ringas Junction. Several places of interest are located around Ringas. Samode is historic place located just about 42 km away from Ringas Junction. It is known for its arts and crafts. Samode Palace is the main highlight of Samode. Built about 400 years ago, Samode Palace is known for its marvelous architecture and spellbinding interiors. Samode is visited by large number tourists from across the globe. Other places of interest which can also be accessed from Ringas include Sikar, Jantar Mantar, Galta, etc. Ringas also lies just about 65 km away from Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan.
Chetak Exp (Delhi-Udaipur), Chandigarh-Bandra Exp, Loharu-Jaipur Intercity Exp, Jaipur-Churu Spl and many other trains pass through Ringas Railway Junction. The town of Ringas is also perched on national highway no 11 (NH-11) connecting Agra and Bikaner. Jaipur airport serves to be the nearest major airbase to Ringas.
