Tenkasi is a city in Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu state. It is perched at the foothills of Western Ghat and is served with a railway junction which comes under Madurai division of Southern Railway Zone. TSI is the station code of Tenkasi Jn. The famous Courtallam Waterfalls is located just 6 km away from Tenkasi. Frequented by thousands of tourist, Courtallam serves to be a major tourist spot in Tamil Nadu.
