Located in Indian southern state of Andhra Pradesh.Guntur is known for its several historical and religious prominence monuments, Guntur is major tourist destination in the state and therefore attracts a large number of tourists from different parts of the country.
Amaravati :
Amaravati is famous historical town having religious significance for both Hindus and Buddhists. Located at the mouth of Krishna River in Guntur district, Amaravati hosts popular Amareshwara temple and a huge Buddhist Stupa. The Stupa is bears the beautiful carvings which displays the teachings, lifestyle of lord Buddha. One can also visit a nearby museum which has a fine collection of antiques, relics, sculptures, coins, ainting and handicrafts made from Bamboo and terracotta.

Kondaveedu :
Kondaveedu in Guntur district is famous for its fort built during the 14th century. The fort is historical importance and is a major attraction in Andhra Pradesh state. The fort was built by Reddy kings and is perched on a hilltop offering panoramic views of the beautiful surroundings. The place also serves to be a perfect spot for trekking.
Bhattiprolu :
Bhattiprolu is another major place of interest in Guntur district. It is a historical and religious importance place in Andhra Pradesh State.  Many excavations have been carried out here which have revealed the hidden treasure of ancient India. Bhattiprolu hosts an ancient Buddhist Stupa which belongs to 2 century BC.

Guthikonda Caves :
It is a natural caves and popularly known as Dakshina kasi.Caves are sorrounded by temples and local people arround the caves guide tourist about the place.
Sitanagaram, and Kotappakonda are other places of attractions located around Guntur.
