Bandel Railway Junction

                                               



        Bandel is suburban area of Chinsurah–Mogra Block in Hooghly district in the state of West Bengal. This former Portuguese settlement forms a part of Kolkata Metropolitan  Area and is just about 50 km north of Kolkata, the capital city of West Bengal. Bandel is major railway junction on Eastern Railway, Howrah Jn. It is the meeting place of Howrah-Bardhaman main line, Bandel-Katwa line and Bandel-Naihati line.  
        There are some notable places located around Bandel. Debandapur is famous for being the birth place of a well known Bengali author named Sharat Chandra Chattopadhay. The place where he was living now houses a library and museum named after him. Debandapur also houses an old temple belonging to the 19th century.  Sahaganj which is located just 4 km away from Bandel Railway Station is home to a unit of Dunlop India Ltd. Tribeni perched on Bandel-Katwa line just 8 km away from Bandel houses Tribeni Tissues Ltd. Mogra and Bansberia are other notable places located near Bandel Jn. 
      Several trains pass through Bandel Junction Railway Station connecting it to other parts of West Bengal and rest part of the country. Howrah Railway Station is major nearby railhead to Bandel Jn.  Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport at Kolkata serves to be the closest airbase to Bandel Jn.

Banda Railway Junction


Banda 
           Banda is a municipal town and the headquarters of Banda district in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The town is well connected by road and railway to other parts of the state and the country. Banda Railway Junction belongs to North Central Railway, Jhansi Jn. Dingawahi and Khairar Jn are nearby railway stations to Banda. Kanpur which is just about 135 km north of Banda serves as a major nearby railway station to Banda. Besides, National Highway no. 76 (NH-76) runs through the town. 
         Home to several historic forts and other places of interest, the district of Banda witnesses a large number of tourists round the year. Kalingjar Fort in Banda district is a historical and cultural legacy of Uttar Pradesh. Located about 60km away from Banda town, Kalingjar fort is a prominent historical structure frequented by a number of history buffs and the tourists. The fort is perched on the top of a hill of Vindhya mountain range. The imposing structure of the fort presents us the insights of old glorious and royal days of the region. 
        Bhuragarh Fort in Banda is another historic place worth a visit. It is located just 3 km away from the heart of Banda town and is much frequented place. It was built in the 17th century and was an important place during the freedom struggle of India. Though the fort is in ruined condition, it attracts a number of tourists. It is also known for hosting the Natbali Ka Mela. Nawab Tank fair, Bilgav fair, Khatri Pahar fair and Simauni fair are other important fairs which are held and celebrated with great religious fervor in Banda district. Other places of interest one can visit in and around Banda include Nawab Tank, Awasthi Park, Pragee Lake, Vamdeveshwar temple and Maheshwari Devi temple. 
        There are number of trains that pass through Banda Junction Railway Station. Chitrkoot Express, Chambal express, Kanpur-Durg Express, Gwalior- Howrah Express and Tulsi Express are some of them. Besides, a number of state highways and a National Highway -76 link Banda to other part of Uttar Pradesh. Khajuraho Airport (130 km) is the nearest airbase to Banda.

Balamu Railway Junction


Balamu 
        Balamu Jn Railway Station is located in Kachhauna of Hardoi district in Uttar Pradesh state. The railway station is managed by Allahabad division of Northern Railways Zone of Indian Railways. Balamu Junction Railway Station connects Sitapur Jn on northeast direction, Unnao Jn on south, Rosa Jn on northwest and Lucknow Jn (80km) on its southeast direction.  There are many places of attraction around Balamu Jn which serve to be a major base for exploring those places of interest.

Bakhtiyarpur Railway Junction

Badnera Raileway Junction

         Badnera is a town located just about 12 km away from Amravati which falls in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra state. Badnera is a railway junction which comes under Central Railways, Bhusawal Jn. Badnera Junction Railway Station is the nearest major railhead to Amravati railway station. There are many places of interest which one can easily explore from Badnera.

Luni Railway Junction,Rajasthan



Luni is a tiny hamlet perched on the banks of Luni River just 35 km away from Jodhpur. Luni is served with a railway Junction which comes under Jodhpur division of North Central Railway Zone.
