Walajah Road Junction is located at about 5 km from Walajpet of Vellore district in Tamil Nadu. It is known as the oldest railway connection in Tamil Nadu. The junction comes under the jurisdiction of Southern Railways. Station code is WJR.

Walajpet is situated on the banks of Palar River between Chennai and Bangalore. The junction lies between Arakkonam and Vellore Katpadi junction on the railway route from Chennai to Coimbatore.
