Shikohabad is a city
in Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh state. It is mainly known for its glass
industry. It also hosts an old bulb and electric tube manufacturing unit which
is presently owned by Bajaj Electricals. Shikohabad is served with a railway
junction which comes under Allahabad Jn division of North Central Railway Zone.
Shikohabad Jn is perched on Delhi-Mugalsari main rail line. SKB is the station
code of Shikohabad Jn. There are several places of interest which can easily be
explored from Shikohabad Jn. Bateshwar is a famous pilgrimage place dedicated
to Lord Shiva. It is just about 23 km away from Shikohabad Jn. Bateshwar is
located on the banks of holy river of Yamuna and is visited by large number of
devotees from far and wide. Major nearby cities and places of interest to Shikohabad are Fatehpur Sikri, Agra,
Mathura, Vrindavan and Aligarh.

Shikohabad Railway Junction include Gomati Exp (Lucknow-Delhi), Delhi-Islampur
Exp, Lucknow -Agra Intercity, Kalka-Howrah Mail, Kolkata-Delhi Exp,
Allahabad-Chandigarh Exp, Sangam Exp (Allahabad-Meerut), Brahmaputra Mail
(Delhi-Dibrugarh), Delhi-Malda Town Exp, etc. Shikohabad is also perched on
national highway no 2 (NH-2) connecting Delhi and Kolkata. Kheria airport at
Agra (70 Km) is the closest airbase to Shikohabad.
