Indara Railway Junction belongs to
Varanasi Jn of North Eastern Railway Zone. It is situated in Mau district of
Uttar Pradesh state and is served with many trains connecting it to many other
parts of the country. Indara Railway Junction falls on Varanasi-Gorakhpur rail
line. It connects Salempur Jn and Gorakhpur Jn on its north east direction,
Mau, Aurnrihar and Varanasi Jn on south west direction and Pephana Jn on south
east direction. Indara is the name of railway station, while the main town is
known as Adri. Siwan Jn is nearby major railhead to Indra Jn.
Gorakhpur-Kolkata Exp,
Lucknow-Manduadih Exp, Jaynagar (BH)-Amritsar Exp, Kanpur-Gorakhpur Exp,
Kolhapur-Gondia Exp, Darbhanga (BH)-Ahmedabad Exp, and Chhapra- Lucknow Exp are
some of many other trains which pass through Indra Jn. Gorakhpur Airport serves to be closest airbase
to Indra Jn.
