Gajraula is a small town located in Jyotiba Phule Nagar district of
Uttar Pradesh state. It is perched on national highway no 24 connecting Delhi and Lucknow. It is a railway
junction which comes under Northern Railway, Moradabad Jn. Gajraula Railway
Junction falls on Delhi-Moradabad
rail route. Moradabad, the main city of Jyotiba Phule Nagar district, is just
about 60 km away from Gajraula Jn. The
town of Gajraula lies just about 120 km away from the capital city of India-
New Delhi.
Several places of interest can be explored from Gajraula Jn. the Historic
town of Hastinapur which also finds
its references Mahabharata epic is just about 80 km away from Gajraula. Home to
several places of worship, Hastinapur is visited by number of devotees from all
over the state. Gajraula Jn lies just about 70 km away from Meerut, an ancient city of Uttar
Pradesh. Meerut hosts numerous places of attractions. Gajraula is well
connected to Meerut by road.
Several trains pass through Gajraula Railway Junction and connect
it to many other parts of India. K V Exp (Varanasi-Delhi), Garhwal Exp
(Delhi-Kotadwara), Lucknow-Chandigarh Exp, Bareli-New Delhi Exp, and Nauchandi
Exp are some of the trains which run through Gajraula Railway Junction.
Muzaffarnagar Airport is the closest airbase to Gajraula.
