Miraj Junction is a major railway junction located at Miraj in the Sangli district of Maharashtra. The station is connected to Pune, Kurduwadi, Belgaum, and Goa. Passenger trains running from Kolhapur to Solapur run through Miraj now. Miraj station comes under the jurisdiction of the Indian Central Railways. Station code of Miraj is MRJ.
Miraj town hosts historical monuments. Nearby tourist places are Kolhapur Laxmi temple, Dajipur wildlife sanctuary, Mandwa, Bijapur, and Pandharapur. About 50 trains stop at this junction connecting Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Hyderabad, Ahmadabad, Nagpur, Ernakulum, Mysore, Dhanabad, Bangalore, Gorakhpur, Ajmer, Jodhpur, and Tirupati. Connecting trains are: Mahalaxmi Express, Chalukya Express, Sahyadri Express, Koyna Express, Sharavati Express, Hazrath Nizamuddin Goa Express, Ahmadabad Express, Sampark Kranthi, Swarna Jayanthi, Gorakhpur LTT Express, Gandhidham Express, Jodhpur Express and Rayalseema Express.
