Nagpur Tourist attraction: Nagpur, popularly known as the Orange City of India,
is the winter capital of Maharashtra state. Geographically located in the
center of India, Nagpur is home to several places of tourist attractions.

Ambazari Lake: It is a popular picnic spot in the city of Nagpur.
Spread over an area of about 15 sq km, Ambazari Lake offers a beautiful and
tranquil place to unwind. Boating in the lake is unforgettable experience for
the tourists. Surrounding walking trails offers beautiful views of the serene
lake. A beautiful garden adjacent to the lake is another attraction of the
city. The garden is filled with many amusement facilities for the children. The
Garden is known as Ambazari Garden and is famous for its musical fountains
which mesmerize one and all by its amazing display of dancing water to the
beats of rhythmic music.
Dikshabhoomi Smarak: It is a prominent Buddhist monument located in
Nagpur. It happens to be the largest Buddhist Stupa in the world. The place
where this grand Stupa stands is popularly known as Dikshabhoomi. The place
holds historic significance as it is the same place where Dr. Babasaheb
Ambedkar as a part of his social revolution converted himself and his lakhs of
followers to Buddhism in the year 1956. To commemorate this historic incidence,
a large Stupa has been built there. It serves to be a prominent place of
religious and historic significance and is visited by large number of devotees
and tourist alike.
Maharaj Bag: Enriched with beautiful nature, Maharaj Bag is
fascinating garden frequented by a number of tourists in Nagpur. The garden was
established by Bhosale rulers. It has now turned in to a beautiful botanical
park. The park also houses a zoo where you can spot numerous specious of wild
animals.
Shukrawari Lake: Perched in the heart of Nagpur city, Shukrawari Lake
is about 275 years old water reservoir. Also known as Gandhi Sagar, Shukrawari
Lake offers boating facility. It is enclosed by stone walls and surrounded by
beautiful green covers. A temple dedicated to lord Ganesh is located near the
lake. Seminary hills, Dragon Palace temple, Sitabuldi fort and Balaji Mandir
are other places of interest located in and the city of Nagpur.
