Kachora, Lugada (typical manners of wearing saris), Polkha and a set of beautiful jewelry form the traditional attires of women of Raipur.  Fairs and festivals celebrated in Raipur also form an integral part of the culture and traditions of the people of Raipur. Surti, Gouri Goura, Hareli, Pola and Teeja are some of the prominent festivals celebrated in Raipur with much fanfare.
