Nagda Railway Junction,Madhya Pradesh

Nagda is a
city in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh state. It is perched on the banks of
Chambal River and serves to be a major industrial city housing several
manufacturing plants like Viscose fibre, Chemical plant, thermal power plant,
etc. Nagda is a major railway junction which belongs to Ratlam Jn division of
Western Railway Zone. Rail line coming from Ratlam bifurcates at Nagda Railway Junction into two rail
lines – one leading Ujjain and other to Kota. Trains that connect Nagda Jn to
other parts of the country include Ajmer-Hyderabad Spl, Bandra- Indore Spl,
Patna-Ahmedabad Spl, Mumbai Ctrl –Jaipur Exp, Jaipur- Indore Exp, Amritsar-
Mumbai Ctrl Exp, Jaipur- Solapur Exp, etc.
Ratlam, Ujjain, Bansawra, Indore
and Neemuch are some of the prominent places which are easily
reachable from Nagda Jn. Ratlam is dotted with several scenic
places attracting a number of tourists. It is known for several picnic spots
frequented by number of tourists from far and wide. Nagda has road and rail
connections to Ratlam. Home to numerous historic structures and religious
sites, Ujjain is major tourist and
pilgrimage spot in Madhya Pradesh. Nagda Jn lies just about 70 km away from
Ujjain and is well connected to it by rail and road. Nagda also has road and
rail connections to Indore which
serves to be closest airbase to it.

Verka Railway Junction,Punjab
Verka Railway Junction is located in Indian state of Punjab. It is just about 8 km away from the center of Amritsar city. Verka Jn belongs to Firozpur Cant of Northern Railway Zone. It is perched on Amritsar-Pathankot rail line and is served with several trains connecting it to other parts of India. VKA is the station code of Verka Jn. There are several places of interest situated around Verka Jn. The Golden Temple of Amritsar is the most holy place for Sikhs. Trains passing through Verka Railway Junction include Jammu Tawi-Bhatinda Exp, Amritsar-Pathankot DMU, Amritsar-Derababa Nanak DMU, Pathankot-Amritsar DMU, etc. Raja Sansi International Airport of Amritsar serves as the closest airbase to Verka Jn.

Manikpur Railway Junction,Uttar Pradesh
Manikpur is a town in Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh state. It is a railway junction which comes under Jhansi Jn division of North Central Railway Zone. The name of Manikaran town has been recently changed to Garhi Manikpur. It is an old town believed to have been set up in 1638. It is often called as the town of kings and saints. Several old structures are located in Manikpur and its adjoining area. The old fort of Manikpur lies just about 4 km away from the town. It is in dilapidated condition and is still a much frequented place in Manikpur. An old mosque, believed to be built by emperor Shahjahan, is located on the north side of the fort. Chihul Satan or Hall of Fame is another old structure worth watching in Manikpur.
There are several places of interest which can easily be explored from Manikpur. Kaushambi is religious significance place for Buddhists as it is one of those sacred places where Lord Buddha delivered his sermons. Kaushambi once housed Stupas, Monasteries and other religious structures. Some remains of those structures are found there. Kalinjar, Satna and Rewa are other nearby worth visiting places.
Mumbai CST- Patna Spl, Howrah- Mumbai Spl, Mumbai- Gorakhpur Spl, Patna-Indore Spl and many other trains pass through Manikpur Railway junction connecting it other parts of the country.

Manamadurai Railway Junction
Manamadurai is a town in Sivaganga district of Tamil Nadu
state. It is a major railway junction which comes under Madurai Jn division of
Sothern Railway Zone. Manamadurai Railway Junction is perched on
Madurai-Rameshwaram rail line and is served with a number of trains. There are
several places of interest located in and around Manamadurai.
Manamadurai is just about 50 km away from Madurai. Madurai is
a historic city offering a number of attractions and prominent religious sites.
Tamil Nadu is sometimes called as the temple state of India. Madurai being a
part of the state is no exception to it. Madurai is home to the famous
Meenakshi Temple, dedicated to Goddess Parvati. Gandhi Museum, Tirumalai Nayak

Makrana Railway Junction
Makrana is a small town located in Nagaur district of
Rajasthan state. It is known for rich reserve of white marble. The famous Taj
Mahal of Agra was built with the marbles brought from Makrana. The town is
served with a railway junction which comes under Jodhpur Jn division of North
Western Railway Zone. Makrana Railway Junction is perched on Jaipur-Jodhpur
rail route. Borawara and Kuchaman city are nearby railway stations to Makrana
Jn, while Ajmer serves to be the nearby major railhead to it.
There are several places of interest located around the town
of Makrana. Home to a number of beautiful Havelis and other old structure,
Kuchaman is a major tourist place in Rajasthan. Famous for its mural and fresco
paintings, Kuchaman attract a number tourists from different parts of the
globe. Makrana is just about 28 km away from Kuchaman and is well connected to
it by road.
