Chikjajur is a small town in Chitradurga district of Karnataka
state. It is a railway junction which comes under South Western Railway, Mysore
Jn. Chikjajur Railway Junction falls
on Bangalore -Hubli rail route and is served with many trains connecting it to
Bangalore, Hubli, and many other cities of the state and the country. It also
has rail connection to Chitradurga, the headquarters of the district.
The temple of Lord Maruthi is the
main attraction of Chikjajur. It is an old temple built about 500 years ago.It
was reconstructed in 1900 by Shanbhog (Village administrator) of Adnoor
Bheemappa. Chitradurga is just about
40 km away from Chikjajur and is home to several places of historical importance.
Chitradurga Fort is a prominent historic structure frequented by thousand of
tourist round the year. Built by Palegar Veer- Madekari Nayaka, the fort is
famous for its Kallina Kote. Eighteen temples are located in fort’s premises.
This seemingly inaccessible fort contains 38 posterior entrances, 19 gateways,
a palace, water tank, four secret entrances and exits. The fort also houses a
mosque, granaries and oil pits.
Chandravalli Caves is another place
of interest in Chitradurga. It is an important archeological site situated near
a large lake. Painted pottery and coins
belonging to Satavahana period have been found in the excavations carried out
at the place. Ankali Matt is place of worship situated close to Chandravalli
Caves. It is known for housing a big Shivlinga under a massive stone structure.
There are several trains which pass
through Chikjajur railway station. Besides, state highways no 48 and 47 also
connect the town to other cities and towns of Karnataka state. Hubli serves to
be the nearest airbase to Chikjajur.

Chhindwara is a city and the
headquarters of Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh state, India. It is
located amidst beautiful natural surroundings abundant with lush green
vegetation, rivers, Satpura hills etc. It is surrounded by thick forests

belongs to South East Central Railways, Nagargali. It is has rail connections

surrounded by a deep valley with lush green sceneries. The architecture of this
majestic is somewhat similar with Mughal architecture. Tribal Museum, Tamia
Hills, Patalkot and Neelkanthi are other places of interest situated in and
around Chhindwara.
Several trains connect Chhindwara
to Nagpur, Jabalpur and many other cities of India. Several state highways also
connect the city to many other parts of Madhya Pradesh and neighboring state of
Maharashtra. Nagpur in Maharashtra serves to be the nearest airbase to
Chhindwara.

Chaparmukh Railway Junction
Chaparmukh
Railway Junction is situated in Nagaon district of the Indian state of Assam.
It belongs to Lumding Jn division of North Frontier Railway Zone. Chaparmukh Jn
is perched on Guwahati-Lumding rail line and is served with several trains. CPK
is the station code of Chaparmukh Jn. Nagaon is just about 26 km away from
Chaparmukh Jn. It is home to number attractions frequented by large number of

Nagaon.
