        Birur is a small town in Chikkamagaluru district of Karnataka state. It is a major railway junction located on Bangalore-Shimoga rail route.  Birur Railway Junction comes under South Central Railways, Mysore Jn. At this junction rail line coming from Bangalore splits into two rail lines with one of them leading to Shimoga and other one to Chitradurga. 
        The town of Birur is home to numerous temples which are frequented by number devotees from different parts of Karnataka state.  Sri Mylaralingaswamy, Sri Antharaghatammanavaru, Sri Rama Devaru and Sri Veerabhadraswamy are some of prominent places of worship in Birur. The town is also famous for its annual fair held at the temple of Sri Antharaghatammanavaru. The fair is organized in the month of Jan-Feb and is visited by thousands of devotees from all over Karnataka state. Bullock cart racing is a major attraction of the fair. Sri Veerabhadraswamy Rathotsava, Ganesh Chaturthi, Ammana Habba and Dussera Mahotsava are prominent festivals celebrated in Birur. 
         Birur Railway Junction is connected by several trains to Bangalore, Hubli, Hassan and many other cities of the country. A national highway and several other highways also connect the town to other parts of Karnataka and rest part of the country. Bajpe airport at Mangalore serves as the closest airbase to Birur.

Pakala Railway Junction,Andhra Pradesh

Pakala is a town in Chittoor district of Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.  It is a railway junction which lies on Tirupati – Dharmavaram rail route. Pakala Railway Junction is managed by Guntakal Jn division of South Central Railway Zone. Subramanyam Swami Temple, located on the top of a hill near Pakala, is major pilgrimage spot in Andhra Pradesh. Besides, Pakala is adorned with beautiful natural surroundings offering several scenic locations and picnic spots.
There are several places of interest which are located around Pakala Jn and can easily be accessed from it. Famous for number of temples and historic structures, Chittoor is just about 30 km away from Pakala Jn which has rail and road connections to it. Pakala Jn also lies just about 45 km away from the famous pilgrimage site of Tirupati. Tirupati is known for the temple of Balaji which serves to be one of the richest temples in the world.  Tirupati witnesses thousands of devotees thronging there throughout the year. Other places located near Pakala Jn are Vellore and Srikalahasti.

Nagercoil Railway Junction,Tamil Nadu


Nagercoil is a prominent city of Tamil Nadu state. It is the headquarters of Kanyakumari district. It is served with a major railway junction which belongs to Trivandrum division of Southern Railway Zone. Nagercoil, also spelled as Nagarcoil, Railway Junction is perched on Chennai-Thuiruvanathapuram rail route. Surrounded by mountain ranges of Western Ghat on its east, Nagercoil is known for numerous scenic locations. Besides, there are several places of interest which are located around Nagercoil and are easily accessible from it.
Nagercoil Jn lies just 20 km away from Kanyakumari and has rail and road connections to it. Kanyakumari is the southernmost tip of India. It is a major tourist destination in Tamil Nadu and is known for several attractions and amazing views of sun set and sun rise. Poovar is another major place of attraction one can visit from Nagercoil. It is the place of one of most beautiful beaches of India. Kovalam and Trivandrum are other popular tourist places which are also accessed from Nagercoil Jn.
Chennai-Nagercoil Exp, Shalimar-Nagercoil Exp, Kanyakumari-Chennai Egmore Exp, Kanyakumari-Howrah Exp and many other trains connect Nagercoil Railway Junction to other parts of India. Nagercoil is also perched on national highway no 66 (NH-66). Trivandrum International Airport is the nearby major airbase to Nagercoil.

Bilimora Railway Junction


          Bilimora is a small town located in Navasari district of Gujarat state, India. The town is perched on the banks of river Ambika and is part of Surat Metropolitan Region. Situated just about 70 km north of Surat, Bilimora serves to be northern most part of Surat Metropolitan Region. Bilimora is railway junction which falls on Mumbai-Vadodara rail line. Bilimora Railway Junction comes under Mumbai division of Western Railway.
        Bilimora is famous for its Somnath Mahadev Mandir. The temple serves to be a prominent place of worship in state of Gujarat and attract thousands of devotees throughout the year. Imposing structure of the temple housing a Swayambhu Linga of Lord Shiva presents the spectacular sight to the beholders.  It is the tallest Mahadev temple in south Gujarat. The temple also hosts a month long annual fair known as Shravan Mela which witnesses thousands of devotees thronging there from different parts of Gujarat state and other parts of the country. Shri Gayatri Mandir, Shri Jalaram Mandir, Swaminarayan Mandir, Shri Ramaji Mandir and Ganga Mata Mandir are other prominent places of worship located in and around the town of Bilimora.
       Several train pass through Bilimora Railway Junction connecting the town to other cities of India. Bilimora is also well linked by several state highways to other cities and towns of Gujarat and neighboring state of Maharashtra. Vadodara airport is the closest domestic airbase to Bilimora, while Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport serves to be nearest major airport to the temple town.

Bhojudih Railway Junction


      Bhojudih is a small town located in Bokaro district of Jharkhand state, India. Bhojudih is railway junction which comes under South Eastern Railway, Adra Jn. Bhojudih Railway Junction falls on Adra-Dhanbad rail route. Sudamdih and Sundri Marshall are nearby railway stations to Bhojudih Jn.  Dhanbad Jn serves to be nearby major railhead to the town. The town of Dhanbad is about 30 km away from Bhojudih.  
         Bokaro Steel City, the headquarters of Bokaro district, is just about 45 km away from Bhojudih. There are many places of interest located around Bhojudih Jn from where one can easily access those places. Among prominent places situated around Bhojudih are Dhanbad, Maithan, Bokaro Steel City and Jamtra. Dhanbad, known as the Coal Capital of India, is home to several places of attraction. Maithan in Dhanbad is known for its beautiful lake, bird sanctuary and deer park. Boating facility is also available at the lake. There are many other natural attractions situated in Dhanbad district. Several trains connect Bhojudih Jn to Dhanbad.
         Borako Steel City is home to Asia’s largest steel plant and many other small, medium scale industries. It also hosts numerous places of interest frequented by a number of tourists. Borako district is known for housing many important places of worship.  Jagannath temple (a replica of famous Jagannath temple in Puri), Aiyappa Mandir, Kali Mandir and Sai Baba Sansthan are some of them.  Borako Steel City is well connected to Bhojudih by rail and road.
         Bhojudih Junction Railway Station is served with many trains that connect the town to many other cities of India. Ranchi Airport (160km) serves as the closest airbase to Bhojudih Jn.
