Pakala is a town in Chittoor district of Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a railway junction which lies on Tirupati – Dharmavaram rail route. Pakala Railway Junction is managed by Guntakal Jn division of South Central Railway Zone. Subramanyam Swami Temple, located on the top of a hill near Pakala, is major pilgrimage spot in Andhra Pradesh.
