Bhojudih is a small town located in
Bokaro district of Jharkhand state, India. Bhojudih
is railway junction which comes under South Eastern Railway, Adra Jn. Bhojudih
Railway Junction falls on Adra-Dhanbad rail route. Sudamdih and Sundri Marshall
are nearby railway stations to Bhojudih Jn. Dhanbad Jn serves to be nearby major railhead
to the town. The town of Dhanbad is
about 30 km away from Bhojudih.
Bokaro Steel City, the headquarters
of Bokaro district, is just about 45 km away from Bhojudih. There are many
places of interest located around Bhojudih Jn from where one can easily access
those places. Among prominent places situated around Bhojudih are Dhanbad,
Maithan, Bokaro Steel City and Jamtra. Dhanbad, known as the Coal Capital of
India, is home to several places of attraction. Maithan in Dhanbad is known for
its beautiful lake, bird sanctuary and deer park. Boating facility is also
available at the lake. There are many other natural attractions situated in
Dhanbad district. Several trains connect Bhojudih Jn to Dhanbad.
Borako Steel City is home to Asia’s largest
steel plant and many other small, medium scale industries. It also hosts
numerous places of interest frequented by a number of tourists. Borako district
is known for housing many important places of worship. Jagannath temple (a replica of famous
Jagannath temple in Puri), Aiyappa Mandir, Kali Mandir and Sai Baba Sansthan
are some of them. Borako Steel City is
well connected to Bhojudih by rail and road.
Bhojudih Junction Railway Station
is served with many trains that connect the town to many other cities of India.
Ranchi Airport (160km) serves as the closest airbase to Bhojudih Jn.
