The Birth place of Mahatma Gandhi, Porbandar is a prominent tourist place in the state of Gujarat, India. The city is the headquarter of the district of the same name. The monument contains the paintings of Mahatma Gandhi and his wife Kasturba. It also has a library of books mainly related with Gandhi’s life and his philosophy.

Take some time out to visit Kuchi which is just 20 minutes drive from Porbandar. It is known for its bird sanctuary and many various species of birds can be seen here. Many photographers are seen here taking photos of birds.
