Nainpur Railway Junction,Madhya Pradesh



Nainpur is a town and municipality in Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh state. It is geographically perched in the centre of India. Nainpur is a major railway junction which connects Jabalpur to the north, Mandla to the east, Balaghat to the south and Chindwara to the south. Nainpur Railway Junction belongs to Nagargali division of South East Central Railway Zone. Nainpur is surrounded by lakes, dam and dense reserve forest with rich flora and fauna.

Water reservoirs located around Nainpur include Railway Talab, Thanwar Reservoir and Bargi Dam. These water reservoirs especially Bargi Dam serves to be major picnic spot in the region. Nainpur also serves to be a major base for the wildlife freak tourists who wish to explore several wildlife forests located around Nainpur. Pench National Park, Kanha Tiger Reserve and several other wildlife sanctuaries can easily be explored from Nainpur.

Satpura Exp (Balaghat (MP) – Jabalpur), Jabalpur- Nagpur Passenger,  Nainpur-Chindwara Passenger, Chindwara-Nagpur Passenger and many other trains stop at Nainpur Railway Junction. Besides, state highway no 11A connects the town of Nainpur to other parts of Madhya Pradesh.
