Duraundha Railway
Junction is located in Siwan district of Indian state of Bihar. It is managed
by Varanasi Jn division of North East Railway Zone. It is perched on Chhapra-
Gorakhpur rail route and is served with number of trains. DDA is the station
code of Duraundha Jn. There are several places of interest located around
Duraundha Jn. Kesariya is a prominent archeological site in Bihar. It is about
75 km away from Duraundha. It hosts an ancient Buddhist Stupa built by the
emperor Asoka. Kesariya Stupa is an important historic structure drawing a
number of Buddhist devotees and tourists alike. Other prominent places one can
easily access from Duraundha include Vaishali, Golghar, Motihari, etc.
