Dhone Railway Junction,Andhra Pradesh

Dhone, also called as Dronachellam, is a town in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh state. It is served with a railway junction which comes under South Central Railway Zone of Indian Railways. DHNE is the station code of Dhone Jn. Dhone Jn is served with several trains connecting it to many other parts of the country. Dhone is also perched on national highway no 7 (NH-7) linking it to other parts of Andhra Pradesh and rest of the country.
Dhone lies just about 52 km south west of Kurnool, the headquarters of Kurnool district. Kurnool is major tourist destination in Andhra Pradesh. It is home to several places of interest like Kondareddy Fort, Belcum Cave, Mahanadi, Saibaba Temple, Birla Temple, etc. Other major towns and places of interest located near Dhone Jn are Srisaialm, Mantralayam, Kadapa and Puttaparthi.
