Balamu Jn Railway
Station is located in Kachhauna of Hardoi district in Uttar Pradesh state. The railway station is managed by Allahabad
division of Northern Railways Zone of Indian Railways. Balamu Junction Railway Station connects Sitapur Jn on northeast
direction, Unnao Jn on south, Rosa Jn on northwest and Lucknow Jn (80km) on its
southeast direction. There are many
places of attraction around Balamu Jn which serve to be a major base for
exploring those places of interest.
Kannauj is a historical city located just
about 70 km away from Balamu. It is perched on the bank of Ganges River and is
home to several ancient weapons and other artifacts. The place is easily
accessible from Balamu Jn by state
run buses or private vehicles like cars. Archeological Museum and Lakh Bahosi
Bird Sanctuary are some of the much frequented places in Kannauj.
Bithur is another place to be visited
near Balamu Jn. The place assumes great religious significance as it is
