Badarpur
Badarpur is a small
town located in Karimganj district of Assam state, India. Badarpur has a railway junction which comes under North East
Frontier Railway Division of Indian Railways. Badarpur Junction Railway Station
falls on Karimganj–Jatinga meter gauge railway line. Karimganj Junction Railway Station is a major railway railhead just
about 25 km west of Badarpur.

Badarpur is well connected by National Highways (NH-44 &
NH-53) to other parts of the state and the country. Kumbhirgram Airport (55km) is the closest airbase to Badarpur,
while major airport is located at Guwahati
city which is about 310 km away from Badarpur and is the capital place of
Assam. Badarpur Junction Railway Station
is served with many trains which connect the town to other Indian cities and
towns.
